GoTo Foods announced a Favor delivery agreement on June 17 covering five brands and more than 550 Texas locations, with availability in the Favor app beginning this summer.
Auntie Anne’s, Cinnabon, Jamba, McAlister’s Deli and Schlotzsky’s are included. The GoTo announcement says the brands will retain their other major delivery platforms. Favor becomes an additional regional destination for orders across the portfolio.
The release describes lower commission structures and greater pricing flexibility as intended benefits for franchisees. It supplies no rates, store-by-store launch calendar or measured profit improvement. Its 550-plus figure is the announced Texas location scope, rather than a count of restaurants verified live on June 17.
The agreement would bring pretzels, baked treats, smoothies and deli meals to one state-focused marketplace.
Favor already had a restaurant-side connection#
The platform’s earlier development helps explain what GoTo is joining. Favor announced an integration with Toast on March 13, 2024, connecting its marketplace to participating restaurants’ point-of-sale systems.
Favor described direct order receipt and real-time menu management through Toast. In the release, OrderUp owner David Galbreth described his San Antonio restaurant’s experience with orders arriving directly from customers. That account was an operator testimonial selected for the announcement, rather than an independent study of order accuracy or staff time.
For a restaurant, appearing in a delivery app and receiving its orders in the kitchen are separate operating questions. The Toast connection addresses the latter for restaurants using that configuration. GoTo’s June agreement does not identify the POS setup at each participating site, so the older integration cannot establish a common workflow across all 550-plus locations.
Grocery and membership built another reason to open the app#
Favor’s August 23, 2024, H-E-B Now launch added a grocery service within the same app. H-E-B, Favor’s parent, supplied a connection to routine grocery needs as well as restaurant delivery.
The launch created an H-E-B tab with grocery shopping alongside offerings such as beer and wine, flowers, sushi and prepared barbecue. Customers could search for specific grocery items or browse categories, bringing a different kind of shopping list into the app they used for restaurant orders. Its advertising presented Favor as a place for restaurant meals and last-minute household purchases. That history explains the breadth of the consumer destination, without suggesting that grocery fulfillment and a restaurant’s delivery handoff follow identical procedures.
Favor then introduced Favor Gold on March 4, 2025. At launch, the subscription cost $9.99 monthly after a 30-day trial. Advertised benefits included $0 delivery fees on almost everything in the app, subject to minimum orders and other possible charges. The local-restaurant discount was 15%, capped at $5 per order. Members also received a monthly $10-off-$50 H-E-B coupon usable in stores or online, plus reduced service fees on eligible orders.
Those launch terms show how Favor linked restaurant use with grocery shopping inside a paid membership. They do not establish the current benefits for every GoTo restaurant or who funds a particular discount. The June partnership supplies the brand and geographic scope; Favor’s earlier announcements explain the ordering infrastructure and consumer program surrounding it.
