Pollo Campero’s May 27 soccer promotion gives guests three ways to order, from an individual meal to a catering spread. A collectible plush and a meal-reward sweepstakes accompany the food.

The menu announcement lists a $12 Goooool Box containing three pieces of fried dark-meat chicken, four nuggets with sauce, fries and a drink.

For groups, the Goooool Bundle starts at $63 and is advertised for eight to 12 people. It contains 22 pieces of fried, roasted or mixed dark-meat chicken, four family sides and 12 rolls or tortillas.

The $259 Goooool Catering Bundle includes 50 chicken pieces, three catering sides, 50 mini churros, either 25 rolls or 50 tortillas, and four limited-edition cups. Prices and availability can vary by location.

The announcement gives a guest range for the family bundle but does not provide one for catering. Comparing the prices solely by chicken count would also overlook differences in sides, drinks, bread and dessert.

The prize is 24 meals with monthly limits#

Campero’s official Golden Ball rules award each winner two meal rewards per month for 12 months, a total of 24.

Each reward covers three pieces of dark-meat chicken and an individual side. A drink is excluded unless a participating restaurant elects to include one. Each reward has a 30-day redemption period; unused or expired rewards are not replaced.

The rules list 5,000 prizes among 55,000 potential entries. A golden-ball plush alone does not establish a win: the accompanying winning card, unique code and verification process matter. Entrants must join the free loyalty program and reside in the contiguous U.S. or Washington, D.C. They must be at least 18 and have reached their state’s age of majority.

A purchase is not required. The rules provide a mail-entry route and limit participation to one entry per person across entry methods.

For a customer deciding what the promotion delivers, the monthly cadence and expiration are central. The benefit is a series of bounded meal redemptions, rather than a balance that can all be spent on one gathering.

An earlier soccer partnership used a similar reward cadence#

Campero’s August 26, 2025, New York City FC announcement documents an earlier connection between soccer audiences and restaurant meals. The partnership announcement described planned fan activities at Yankee Stadium and Citi Field, with merchandise and ticket opportunities alongside food promotions.

The announced activities included lucky stadium rows receiving three-piece combo meals during designated games. A limited number of Golden Tickets offered two individual meals per month for 12 months. That structure would schedule restaurant redemptions after the stadium promotion.

The company also promoted tickets for the September 24, 2025, match against Inter Miami. Field Marketing Director Lorena Rivera described the partnership as a way to reach new communities.

The historical announcement shows two different ways to connect a fan event with food: a single meal for a selected group and recurring redemptions for individual winners. At the time, Campero reported 10 restaurants across the greater New York City area, identifying the local network behind the partnership.
