Wagamama USA is reserving bao-and-beverage bundles and delivery of its kids’ menu for mamago, its direct online ordering experience, according to the company’s October 29 announcement. Customers order through the company’s website, where the mamago offering also includes ramen, curries and noodle dishes.
The bundles pair four bao bun tacos and edamame with a six-pack or 12-pack of Sapporo beer, or rosé wine. In New York, the company says the wine bundle includes four glasses instead of a bottle.
The public U.S. menu, viewed November 1, specifies the bao assortment: two Korean fried chicken and two chili hoisin duck. Its regular bao section lists one, two or three at a time, with fillings chosen individually.
The same menu labels all three Wagyumama slider portions, from one to three, “In-store only.” That label also appears on Tokyo fries, ahi tuna nachos, and the coconut, mango and red bean ice creams.
The bao and slider categories were introduced in Wagamama’s September 8 U.S. menu expansion.
