Crunchtime’s September 16 launch connects restaurant tasks, prep guidance and waste recording to its kitchen display system, or KDS. The company says staff can handle those jobs on the screen already showing incoming orders.
Tasks created in Crunchtime Ops Execution appear alongside orders. Staff can view and complete them without opening another application, according to the product description. Prep recommendations draw on Crunchtime Inventory’s AI forecast. Food waste entered on the kitchen screen automatically updates Inventory.
The launch also connects kitchen and reservation information to Crunchtime Insights. Managers can see speed of service, ticket times, variation in cooking times and reservation data alongside inventory, labor, point-of-sale and task-execution records. That brings information about the kitchen’s pace and the restaurant’s operating records into the same reporting view, the company says.
