DTiQ has launched ACTIONiQ, an AI tool it says analyzes existing camera footage to flag restaurant operating conditions. Its September 30 announcement set October 1, 2026, for general availability to operators with multiple locations.
The company says a queue exceeding a defined threshold can trigger notifications through its 360iQ platform, email, text message or mobile app. Managers choose the response. Scheduled AI-assisted reviews cover dining-room cleanliness, staffing coverage and selected visual policy exceptions.
DTiQ says ACTIONiQ builds on VIDEOiQ, retaining live and recorded footage for investigation. DTiQ offers an upgrade for VIDEOiQ customers or a standalone product for new customers, with measurements to compare traffic, queues and service timing across locations and dayparts. Its product FAQ says customers retain video monitoring, cloud archiving, entry counts and heatmaps.
DTiQ’s Q4 2025 release notes describe earlier 360iQ changes: customizable SmartAudit emails and messages based on selected metrics. Account Analysis Report clients also gained report data in their audit dashboard.
Its separate DRIVETHRUiQ platform, introduced March 24, 2026, built on Summit Innovations technology, added cameras as an alternative to vehicle-detection loops embedded in concrete. DTiQ said cameras could extend coverage to lane approaches and waiting bays, while prompts helped staff decide when to send cars to a waiting bay.
