DoorDash introduced DashOS on September 30 to connect its ordering, reservations, loyalty and marketing products around each restaurant's guest interactions. Existing services are available, while deeper connections with point-of-sale and middleware providers are planned beginning in 2027. Launch announcement
How a direct order reaches the kitchen#
DoorDash's U.S. Online Ordering documentation, reviewed October 1, says restaurants with an active DoorDash store can activate the service through Merchant Portal. The restaurant can link its ordering page from its website, social accounts or Google Business Profile, for ordering outside the DoorDash app. Online Ordering
Marketplace menus sync into Online Ordering; supported point-of-sale systems receive orders, and Dashers handle deliveries with customer tracking.
Customers can choose pickup or delivery.
For this component, DoorDash lists no monthly charge or order commission. Restaurants still pay payment-processing fees, and customers pay delivery charges. The order's entry point changes its fee structure even when DoorDash supplies delivery.
Connecting the guest record#
The DashOS product page describes linking customer information shared with permission across Marketplace, direct ordering and restaurant visits. DoorDash says restaurants can recognize related interactions across tools. DashOS product guide

Optional direct-channel packages#
The current U.S. DoorDash Direct page lists Boost at $99 a month, including a branded website and automated email marketing. Pro costs $249 a month and adds a branded mobile app and cross-channel loyalty. DoorDash Direct
Storefront became Online Ordering, a component of DoorDash Direct. DoorDash says existing Storefront merchants transitioned without an additional charge, and Online Ordering is included in Marketplace plans.
The page describes a marketing route through the restaurant's loyalty program: when Marketplace customers join, their data can support personalized marketing and email campaigns.
What is planned for 2027#
Beginning in 2027, DoorDash plans expanded integrations with Clover from Fiserv, Qu, Checkmate, Chowly, Deliverect, Stream and Urban Piper. It puts the planned reach at more than 80,000 restaurants, giving them more ways to use SevenRooms guest profiles, Online Ordering, In-Store Rewards and Omnichannel Loyalty. 2027 integration plans
