Hardee's Restaurants LLC launched Running on Full on June 18, 2026, limiting a breakfast giveaway to the first 4,500 eligible entries from active My Rewards members.

Eligible entrants are legal residents of the 50 states or Washington, D.C., aged 18 or older. Hardee's terms require a photo showing their vehicle's fuel gauge at or below one-quarter full. Members submit it at hardees.com/runningonfull.

Stage Announced window or restriction
Entry June 18, 12:00 a.m. to July 2, 11:59 p.m., Eastern time; one per account
Award Verification required; awards begin June 18
Redemption Through October 31, 2026; one per registered user

Recipients get a Sausage Egg & Cheese Biscuit or Bacon Egg & Cheese Biscuit through Hardee's app or order.hardees.com at participating restaurants. No purchase is required; combos, other offers or discounts, and third-party delivery are excluded.

A limited reward pool behind a broad invitation#

The promotion uses the fuel gauge as its participation trigger. It asks members to document a circumstance outside the restaurant, then brings the reward back through the brand's ordering channels. The image gives the campaign a recognizable theme without requiring a food purchase to enter.

Verification connects that theme to the rules. A submitted photograph is a claim of eligibility; an awarded offer means the entry has cleared that step. Hardee's also excludes images depicting unsafe behavior, including mobile-device use while driving.

The order of qualifying entries matters because the reward pool can run out before the entry window ends. The calendar deadline sets the last scheduled moment to submit. The numerical cap tells members how many entries can receive an offer. Both belong beside the invitation to participate.

For a marketing team, that distinction affects customer communication. Someone who encounters the campaign before July 2 could still arrive too late for a reward. That possibility follows from the cap, even though the release does not say whether or when the pool will be exhausted.

The award can become a later breakfast visit#

Awards begin during the entry period, so a recipient does not have to wait until submissions close to redeem. The longer redemption window also allows the breakfast visit to happen well after the low-fuel moment that prompted the photograph.

This separates the campaign's immediate response from its restaurant workload. Entries and verification occur first; preparation follows only when recipients order. The 4,500-offer ceiling bounds potential redemptions across the campaign, while providing no location-level or daily demand forecast.

The two biscuit choices keep the reward focused on breakfast without requiring every recipient to choose the same protein. The no-purchase condition also allows someone to finish the transaction without spending anything. An accompanying paid item would be additional behavior, not a condition of receiving the promised food.

Because existing members can enter, participation alone cannot establish customer acquisition. A useful distinction is between an existing member using the offer and a newcomer whose first interaction begins with it. Even a fully redeemed pool would leave that question unanswered.

Running on Full links a topical reason to participate with a later opportunity to order. Its cap defines the offer's scale; the account history and completed orders would reveal what kind of customer response it produced.
